Scenes I Love: The Final Scene of They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?

Today’s scene that I love from 1969’s They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?  After all the drama and all the tragedy and all the sadness, the dance continues without end.

  1. One of the most devastating scenes in cinema – a film that doesn’t get very much attention in the “great films in cinema” discussions…thanks for sharing!

  2. They Shoot Horses, Don’t They? is one of the best examples of a film’s title being spoken by one of the characters. The film is superb. The book, too, is well worth the effort. It’s a quick, engaging read.

They Shoot Horses, Don’t They? is a film that deserves a lot more attention. People are the ultimate spectacle.

    “Yowza, yowza, yowza!”
