Music Video Of The Day: All over me by HAIM (2025, dir by Ferina)

Today’s music video of the day is the latest Haim.  As I’ve said many times in the past, the Haim sisters have always reminded me of the Bowman sisters, which explains a lot about why I like their high-energy music videos.

I should also note that Will Poulter is in this video.  Hi, Will!

Enjoy!

Brad’s Video of the Day – “Wanted Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi!

I’ve chosen Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive” as my video of the day solely because my wife is in it. The music video was partially filmed in West Virginia, which is where my wife is from. She saw them at the Huntington Civic Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Portions of that concert were included in the video, as well as portions in Rochester, Chicago, Denver, Pittsburgh, and Oklahoma City. (Pictured below the video is my wife having a blast!)

So, let’s take a trip back to 1987 and enjoy “Wanted Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi!

Brad’s Song of the Day – “Rhinestone Cowboy” by Glen Campbell!

In keeping with my theme of celebrating Arkansas in pop culture today, I’ve chosen superstar Glen Campbell and one of his classic hits for my song of the day. Campbell was born in Billstown, Arkansas, which is about 20 miles from where our kids were raised in Southwest Arkansas. I know several members of his family, and they are so proud of Glen. And why shouldn’t they be?! From cranking out hit records to starring in the movie version of a great work of Arkansas literature, TRUE GRIT, Campbell is a one-of-a-kind talent, and all of Arkansas is proud to call him our own! Enjoy my friends!

Song Of The Day: Coming Into Los Angeles by Arlo Guthrie

We’ll be coming into Los Angeles in another 12 hours or so.  And then, it’ll be onto Dallas.  It was a good vacation but I’m definitely ready to jump back into things.  I have to say thank you to my fellow writers here at the Shattered Lens and especially my wonderful sister, the one and only Dazzling Erin Nicole, for keeping the site thriving while I was gone.

Here’s today’s song of the day.  For the record, I will not be bringing in a couple of keys.  I still love Arlo, though!

Music Video of the Day: Bag It Up by Geri Halliwell (2000, Dir. by Dawn Shadforth)

Today’s music video of the day is heaven in a box!

Geri Halliwell’s boyfriend doesn’t appreciate her so she drugs him and then brainwashes him.  Whatever works!  Her boyfriend is played by Aiden Turner, who also played Aiden Devane on All My Children.  Aiden left the show in 2009 and it was canceled two years later.  Coincidence?  I think not.

Back in the day, Lisa and I would annoy the rest of our family by singing this song at the top of our lungs.  The only part that we really knew was the part about bagging it up.

Enjoy!
