Is Shark Week a real thing, or does it exist only at his website? I live in a beach city. I’ve never heard of Shark Week anywhere around these parts.

Shark Week is very much a real thing in America. The Discovery Channel devotes a week to documentaries about sharks. SyFy used to air shark-related movies.
