Dear God,
Today we bring You a sacrifice of thanksgiving.
Thank You for a new day.
Thank You for the gift of life.
Thank You for the breath in our lungs and strength in our bodies.
Thank You for new mercies this morning.
Thank You for the things You protected us from that we never saw.
Thank You for the battles You fought for us while we slept.
Thank You for prayers You have answered and even for those You are still working on.
Thank You for Your faithfulness when we were weak.
Thank You for making a way when we could not see one.
Thank You for provision, for family, for opportunities, for peace, and for the grace to begin again.
Today, we choose to thank You before we ask You for anything.
We acknowledge that everything we have comes from You.
You have carried us this far, and we trust You to carry us further.
May our hearts never become so familiar with Your blessings that we forget to say, Thank You.
We woke up because You gave us another day.
We are here because You have been faithful.
And for that alone, Lord, we say THANK YOU.
