Scenes That I Love: Liza Minnelli In Cabaret

Today, the Shattered Lens wishes a happy birthday to the one and only Liza Minnelli.  Here she is, in today’s scene that I love, performing Money with Joel Grey in 1972’s Cabaret.

One response to “Scenes That I Love: Liza Minnelli In Cabaret

  1. Here’s my Minnelli encounter: I helped her with her seat assignment on a plane! She had been seated next to a guy, and the Attendant asked him if her “Assistant / Nurse” could switch seats as Liza needed them closer to her – the guy refused to go to an alternate first row seat and was a bit of an ass, so I raised my hand and offered to sit in the front row so the guy could have my seat…Liza had her seat mate, I was in the front row with less legroom and when I got off the flight the flight attendant thanked me again and then gave me a small bag with 2 bottles of French wine…and the excerpts from her Memoir sound really fun and candid! Great choice of scene to honor her talent as well…
