6 Trailers For The Holidays

Hi!  With the holidays rapidly approaching, allow me to give our readers an early Christmas gift.  That’s right — it’s another edition of Lisa Marie’s Favorite Grindhouse and Exploitation Film trailers!

Enjoy!

1) The Man Who Saves The World (1982)

2) The Killer Shrews (1959)

3) The Deadly Mantis (1957)

4) The Legend of the Wolf Woman (1976)

5) Inga (1968)

6) Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry (1974)

What do you think, Trailer Kitties?

  1. I almost didn’t see the wee lil kitty.

Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry is a major favorite if just for the muscle cars that are the true stars of the flick. Makes for a great bookend to Vanishing Point.

  2. Wow. This was an especially good batch.

It’s been awhile since I have come across a film that could possibly rival the special designation held by “Plan 9 From Outer Space”, but “The Man Who Saves The World” has that vibe. Is it just me, or does that antagonist toward the end seem rather full of himself? Quite the braggart, that one.

  3. If you don’t know who Marie Liljedahl is, then you probably haven’t seen “Inga”.

If you haven’t seen “Inga”, then you’re really missing out.

Just look at that trailer. I love the font, the black-and-white cinematography, the whole folksy feel about it.

This was the first Marie Liljedahl film that I saw when I started collecting her films on DVD. She appeared in only a small number of films in the late sixties and early seventies, before leaving cinema.
