  1. Great list! I can’t say that I’m all that surprised by these winners. “Oppenheimer” was always going to win Best Picture and there was no two ways about it. While I did love the film, I do feel that it’s been overrated. Its domination left little room for smaller movies like “Past Lives” to get any of the attention they deserved.   3. I only saw one film out of all those: Oppenheimer – and I only saw the last half. Although it wasn’t my kind of movie, I would’ve been very surprised if it didn’t win Best Picture.
