Granted, this film is frequently accused of being the worst of all time. However, I must say, I’ve seen many films that were far less entertaining than “Plan 9 from Outer Space”. People who can’t find merit in this film are stupid…stupid!
The Astor Theatre has a double feature with “Plan 9 from Outer Space” playing with “Robot Monster” just around the corner! You know, a lot of 35mm prints of classic films are thoughtlessly junked by the bastards who run the film industry these days. So it really does say something special about “Plan 9 from Outer Space” and “Robot Monster” that these films still survive on celluloid, and still draw appreciative audiences.
