Yesterday, Elke Sommer passed away at the age of 85.  One of the top international actresses of the 1960s, Sommer appeared in films like The Pink Panther, A Shot In The Dark, The Prize, and one of my favorites, The Oscar.  She also did two films for the great Mario Bava (two and a half if you include House of Exorcism).  My personal favorite is 1974’s Lisa and the Devil.  Here she is as Lisa, a tourist who finds herself trapped inn a surreal nightmare.
