Here’s The 2nd Trailer For House of Gucci!

At this point, it seems pretty clear that Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci is either going to be:

  1. A complete mess

or

2. A whole lot of sordid fun.

My personal hope is that it will be both.  With The Last Duel struggling at the box office, it’s also probably that House of Gucci is going to be Scott’s main Oscar contender this year.  It certainly seems likely to pick up a hair and makeup nomination, if just for making Jared Leto look like Jeffrey Tambor.

The 2nd trailer for House of Gucci dropped today.  And here it is!

Here’s The Trailer For Deadlock!

Patrick Muldoon and Bruce Wills in the same movie!?

Finally, the ancient prophecy has come true.

Deadlock will be released on December 3rd. It looks like Bruce might actually make more than a five minute appearance in this film. I guess someone here at the Shattered Lens will find out when we force them to watch this movie.

Here’s the trailer!

Here’s The Trailer For The Unforgivable!

In The Unforgivable, Sandra Bullock plays a woman who has just gotten out of prison and who is searching for her long lost sister….

Sandra Bullock as an ex-con?  Well, okay.  She’s a good actress so I guess she could probably pull that off.  Still, I’d have an easier time thinking of Sandra Bullock as being one of those 60 Days In prisoners, who are just pretending to be criminals as opposed to being someone who has been through the court system and sentenced to spend time behind bars.

The Unforgivable is due to be available on Netflix in December.  For a film starring a big star and featuring several prestigious co-stars, I haven’t heard much about The Unforgivable.  It’s almost as if it’s been very much not hyped.  Make of that what you will.

Lisa Marie’s Grindhouse Trailers: 6 Trailers For The Fourth Tuesday In October

Halloween City by Karl Pfieffer

Since today is Pumpkin Day (yes, they get their own day!), it only makes sense that today’s edition of Lisa Marie’s Favorite Grindhouse trailers should feature just that!

Without further ado, here are today’s pumpkin-centered trailers!  Happy Pumpkin Day, everyone!

  1. Pumpkinhead (1988)

Hey, I reviewed this movie earlier this month!  The monster’s impressive, though I wish his head was a bit more pumpkin-like.  This movie gave Lance Henriksen a rare starring role and we will always be thankful.  Lance is the best!

2. Pumpkinhead II (1994)

Eventually, Pumpkinhead returned.  Consider this proof that you can’t keep a good pumpkin down.

3. Pumpkinhead 3 (2006)

After the first sequel, Pumpkinhead took a 12-year hiatus from appearing in the movies.  It’s rumored that he blew all of his money on cocaine and it was either make a third movie or go to jail for tax fraud.  For whatever reason, he eventually returned in yet another sequel.

4. Pumpkinhead 4 (2007)

To date, this has been the final Pumpinhead movie. Hopefully, Pumpkinhead is doing a better job managing his money and his lifestyle now and he won’t be forced to do a Pumpkinhead 5 just to pay the rent.

5. Pumpkins (2019)

Just when I was getting worried that I might have been too hasty when I decided to devote this edition of Lisa Marie’s Favorite Grindhouse Trailers to movies about pumpkins, I discovered that there literally is a movie called Pumpkins. And here’s the trailer!

6. Trick ‘r’ Treat (2009)

Hey, that kid is dressed like a pumpkin …. kind of. And there are pumpkins in the trailer so, a far as I’m concerned, close enough!

What do you think, Pumpkin Trailer Kitty?

Nicolas Cage Does His Thing In The Trailer For Prisoners Of The Ghostland!

For instance, just watch this trailer for Prisoners of the Ghostland, starring Nicolas Cage! This film will be available on Shudder in November.

Bruce Campbell and Devon Sawa Provide The Best Customer Service In The Trailer for Black Friday

Yay!  I was just thinking that it would be nice to get a trailer for a new Bruce Campbell film and — surprise! — here it is!

Not only does Black Friday feature Bruce but it also features Devon Sawa, who seems like he deserves to make a bit of comeback.

Here’s the trailer for Black Friday:

Here’s The Trailer for Being The Ricardos

Javier Bardem and Nicole Kidman play Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in a film written and directed by Aaron Sorkin …. well, I was excited until I typed that last part. I love Javier and Nicole but this seems like the type of story that will just bring out all of Sorkin’s worst instincts. Sorkin desperatey needs a director like David Fincher to help him reign in his more earnest and preachy tendencies.

But, you know what? Let’s give it a chance! Enough with a negativity, Bowman! I hope this is a good movie. Oscars for everyone!

Here’s The International Trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife!

To be honest, I was under the impression that this film had already been released, just because it seems like I’ve been hearing about it for years. But no, actually, it won’t be coming out until next month, on November 24th. Personally, I would think that a Ghostbusters sequel would be a natural Halloween release but I think this film is going more for the family film audience than the horror spoof audience.

Well, regardless, here is the international trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife!
