Here’s The Super Bowl Spot For Sonic The Hedgehog
I guess the point of this trailer is that Sonic The Hedgehog is really, really fast.
At least he doesn’t look no longer looks like he’s going to kill someone, so that’s an improvement. Seriously, film twitter takes a lot of criticism but this is one of those rare cases where the folks at Paramount should be thanking everyone who complained online.

Hunters is a show that I’m very much looking forward to. Al Pacino hunting down Nazi war criminals? Seriously, how can you not want to see that? Here’s the Super Bowl spot for Hunters, which is definitely intriguing. I like the contrast between the placid surface of suburbia and the truth lurking right underneath the surface.
The first episode of Hunters will drop on February 21st!
Here’s The Super Bowl Spot For A Quiet Place 2
Well, it’s Super Bowl Sunday and you know what that means! It’s time for everyone to watch the commercials. As we do every year, we’re going to post every single teaser and trailer that drops during the big game. Actually, it may be a little bit easier than usual this year because, apparently, there aren’t going to be as many trailers as there have been in the past. It’s not cheap to advertise during the Super Bowl and a lot of studios apparently decided that money could be put to better use elsewhere. It makes sense, really. Why spend millions to run one commercial during the Super Bowl when you can just drop the ad on YouTube and then have your star tweet out the link?
That said, we should still have a few trailers to look forward. For instance, here’s the Super Bowl teaser for A Quiet Place 2!
Since Jon Krasinski’s character died at the end of the first film, I’m going to assume that this sequel is going to be, at least partially, a prequel. So, we’ll get to see how the Earth got invaded and all that good stuff. I thought the first A Quiet Place was absolutely brilliant so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing if the sequel can live up to it!
Fast 9 – The Fast Saga revs things up with a trailer.
When it comes to the Fast and Furious franchise, Tokyo Drift is my favorite, followed closely by Fast Five. I thought the franchise should have ended at 7 with the death of Paul Walker, but the show went on with The Fate of the Furious. They managed to close off all of the loops between the earlier movies, After a bit of a spat between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson, Johnson branched off with his character Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw on their own film, Hobbs & Shaw.
Not to be left behind, we now have the ninth entry in the franchise. F9 reunites director Justin Lin with Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Michelle Rodriguez, and Nathalie Emmanuel. John Cena (Bumblebee) plays the villain this time around, as a thief with personal ties to Dominic Toretto. With this trailer, we see a few very familiar faces, including Tokyo Drift’s Lucas Black and Sung Kang. How Kang’s character Han is still alive, I don’t know, but we’ll find out this May when the film releases.

Elijah Wood Deals With The Father From Hell In The Trailer For Come To Daddy!
For the record, I’ve actually heard some good things about the upcoming horror film, Come To Daddy. The film, which features Elijah Wood as a troubled man who makes the mistake of visiting his even more troubled father (Stephen McHattie), is said to be a truly frightening and thought-provoking film. We’ll get to see for ourselves when Come To Daddy is released in March!

The Truth is a film about the strained relationship between an legendary actress (Catherine Deneuve) and her screenwriter daughter (Juliette Binoche). Directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda, it’s his first film to be set outside of Japan and not to be in his native language. Completing the international feel of the production is Ethan Hawke, cast as Binoche’s husband.
The Truth received some favorable reviews when it played at both the Venice and the Toronto Film Festivals earlier this year. It will be receiving a general release on March 20th of 2020.

2019 is nearly over and that means that it’s time to start thinking about the films of 2020!
With that in mind, here’s the trailer for the upcoming horror film, Awoken. Apparently, it’s about a woman trying to cure her brother from a life-threatening case of insomnia. Unfortunately, judging from the trailer, it does not look like things are going well.
Russian Sleep Experiment is a term that should strike fear into the heart of everyone.

Here’s the trailer for Wonder Woman 1984, which looks wonderful! I mean, seriously — Wonder Woman and the 80s!? How can’t you love that?
Other things I like about this trailer:
- It doesn’t give away too much of the plot!
- Wonder Woman using her tiara as a boomerang!
- A battle in the White House!
- The clothes! The cars!
- Chris Pine is back!
- The perfect use of New Order’s Blue Monday as the trailer’s soundtrack. Hopefully, this won’t be a case where a song only appears in the trailer!
Now, just from looking online, I can see that some people are already trying to do the whole “here’s the political subtext of Wonder Woman 1984” thing but you know what? There will be time for that later. You’ve got a while to go before the movie comes out so, if you’re so obsessed with politics that you have to bring it into everything, you’ll have plenty of time to do that and bore everyone silly with your analysis. For now, let’s all just enjoy the damn trailer!
