This was a bit of a surprise. What looked like a football play turned into Stitch taking the field, along with a bit of a teaser for the live action version of the 2002 film.

Trailer: Final Destination Bloodlines Teaser

Looks like Death is up to its shenanigans once again with Final Destination Bloodlines. Just when we thought it was safe to go about our lives without having to worry about Death’s penchant for complex Rube Goldbergesque plans to kill some people it looks like we spoke too soon.
On May 16, 2025, Death runs in the family and wearing a nose ring may not be the best thing when Death’s around. Here we have the first teaser trailer for Final Destination Bloodlines.
Trailer: Sinners (2nd Official)

Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan have become their generations director-actor duo. Films like Fruitvale Station, Creed, Creed 2, Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has the two working together for over a decade and they continue with a new film that brings the two into a new genre with the period action horror Sinners.
We haven’t had a good horror film set in the Deep South and this one takes it a layer deeper by setting it during Jim Crow era. Knowing Coogler there’s bound to be more than just visceral action and horror for audiences to sink their teeth on.
Michael B. Jordan will be joined by other MCU alumni Hailee Steinfeld and Wunmi Mosaku and his frequent collaborators Ludwig Göransson, Autumn Durald Arkapaw and Michael Shawver.
Sinners is set for release on April 18, 2025.
Daredevil: Born Again – Official Trailer (Disney+)

The first official trailer for the return of Daredevil to the small screen has finally been released by Marvel Television (a part of Marvel Studios). Daredevil: Born Again will finally and officially be the homecoming of the live-action Daredevil character that many fans have been clamoring for. Disney is finally embracing the Netflix Marvel shows as part of the MCU (they ignored the ABC/Netflix Marvel shows like they were something one found under their shoes).
Charlie Cox is back as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, The Man With No Fear. Vincent D’Onofrio is also back as his arch nemesis Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin. Pretty much the rest of the cast of the Netflix Daredevil show and its many spin-offs are back, as well.
There was some major fears and trepidations from fans of those shows that Disney will water down the mature-aspect of those shows in order to have them on Disney+. The fact that Kevin Feige and his braintrust at Marvel Studios made a major overhaul of the shows creative team six-episodes in of the shows production to start anew tells me that the initial plan to make the show more lighthearted didn’t so well when reviewed by the powers-that-be. So, after some many months of major reshoots, change in showrunner and directors, we now see a taste of that pivot away from the studio’s original plan.
Daredevil: Born Again trailer channels the original Netflix series’ serious and mature tone. Even the fear that the violence of the original series would be water-downed could be put to rest. Daredevil: Born Again definitely is for mature-audiences only.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe hasn’t has many hits since the end of Avengers: End Game, but this trailer (hopefully just a hint of what to expect when the show comes out) is a right step in the direction of righting the MCU ship, because the pop-culture landscape is much better when its tentpole franchises are working perfectly on all cylinders rather than not.

DC Studios and James Gunn reveal the Superman Teaser!
Despite my disdain for DC constantly rolling out remakes for their prime characters over the years, I’ll admit that I’m excited for what James Gunn could bring to a Superman story. We know he doesn’t play when it comes to killing characters, as evidenced in movies like Super, his DC Show Peacemaker and the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy. We also know we have the potential for horror, having written Zach Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead and his own Slither being a fun and twisted flick. Above all, we know he loves animals.
All I’m hoping to see is something new, something fun & exciting. That’s more than enough for me. The teaser shows that Clark’s not alone in all this. He’s got quite a bit of backup, which looks pretty cool.
Superman has a release date set for July 11 of next year.
PAPA (2024) Film Trailer – Sean Lau stars in a movie based on a shocking Hong Kong true-crime case from 2010.
I’m a huge fan of Hong Kong actor Sean Lau (Lau Ching-wan). In my personal opinion, he’s one of the great actors in world cinema, and he can perform well in any genre. Some of his best films are true Hong Kong cinema classics, including C’EST LA VIE MON CHERI, FULL ALERT, THE LONGEST NITE, EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED, A HERO NEVER DIES, RUNNING OUT OF TIME, MY NAME IS FAME, MAD DETECTIVE, OVERHEARD, and THE WHITE STORM. I highly recommend each of these films.
A three-time winner of the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor, Lau’s new film PAPA looks like it just may contain his best performance yet. PAPA is based on a gruesome murder that took place in the Hong Kong city of Tsuen Wan in 2010. The real-life incident consisted of a 15-year-old boy killing both his mother and his sister. In the film version, Sean Lau plays the grieving husband and father who has to somehow come to terms with his son’s actions and try to find a way to move on in his life. It’s an unimaginable scenario, and the trailer looks heartbreaking. Check it out.
