When I decided that I was going to post a series of dance scenes that I love, I knew I’d have to include at least one scene from Cabaret.
But which scene?
Bob Fosse’s 1972 film is a treasure trove for those of us who love dance.
In the end, I went with Money because it’s true.
Money does make the world go around.
As far as I’m concerned, anybody who dismisses “Cabaret” simply because it’s not “their kind” of film…
“Oh, it’s a musical! No thanks!”
“Oh, Liza Minnelli! She’s even worse than Julie Andrews!”
“Real men don’t watch that type of stuff!”
…totally have zero idea about the film and really need to expand their horizons.
The first time I experienced this film, I wept uncontrollably over the “Tomorrow Belongs To Us” scene.
