Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is the third movie in Rian Johnson’s fun and twisty murder mystery series. Daniel Craig is back as the sharp detective Benoit Blanc, who’s got his work cut out for him with a seemingly impossible case this time. The movie is set in a small-town church with some pretty creepy secrets, and Blanc teams up with a young priest to crack the case. The cast is packed with great talent like Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, and Kerry Washington, so there’s a lot of star power mixed with sharp writing and those clever twists Johnson’s known for.

The movie mixes mystery, drama, and a bit of dark humor while diving into themes like faith, secrets, and lies. Benoit Blanc has to navigate a tangled web of hidden motives and dark pasts—all wrapped in the spooky atmosphere of the church and its community.

It’s dropping in theaters on November 26, 2025, and then hitting Netflix worldwide on December 12, so it’s definitely one to keep an eye out for whether you’re already a fan or just love a good whodunnit.

Horror Trailer: Send Help

Send Help is a darkly comedic psychological thriller directed by Sam Raimi. The film centers on two coworkers, Linda Liddle and Bradley Preston, who are the only survivors of a plane crash that leaves them stranded on a deserted island. Two people who shouldn’t be together in the same room must now collaborate to survive. The film looks to play on the two characters darkly comedic battle of wills and wits to what looks like survival of the fittest. The film is a mix of survival drama, sharp psychological tension, and Raimi’s signature style, blending horror and black comedy elements.

The film stars Rachel McAdams as Linda Liddle and Dylan O’Brien as Bradley Preston, with a supporting cast including Edyll Ismail, Dennis Haysbert, Xavier Samuel, Chris Pang, Thaneth Warakulnukroh, and Emma Raimi. Send Help is produced by Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi, with a screenplay by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, and features music by frequent collaborator, Danny Elfman. It is scheduled for theatrical release nationwide on January 30, 2026, distributed by 20th Century Studios.

Trailer: Sinners (2nd Official)

Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan have become their generations director-actor duo. Films like Fruitvale Station, Creed, Creed 2, Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has the two working together for over a decade and they continue with a new film that brings the two into a new genre with the period action horror Sinners.

We haven’t had a good horror film set in the Deep South and this one takes it a layer deeper by setting it during Jim Crow era. Knowing Coogler there’s bound to be more than just visceral action and horror for audiences to sink their teeth on.

Michael B. Jordan will be joined by other MCU alumni Hailee Steinfeld and Wunmi Mosaku and his frequent collaborators Ludwig Göransson, Autumn Durald Arkapaw and Michael Shawver.

Sinners is set for release on April 18, 2025.

The Predator (Final Trailer)

The Predator

The teaser trailer for this Shane Black production didn’t wow me, at all. Then the first trailer came out and a red band one at that. That one was an upgrade but I was still on the fence. They’ve released more teasers, international trailers and tv spot and, once again, I was still not fully sold on the film.

Today 20th Century Fox drops the final trailer for The Predator just two weeks from it’s release date of September 14. This just days after the studio confirmed that the film will be a very hard R-rating raised my interest level.

It is this final trailer (again another red band trailer) is what finally sold me on this film as a must-see. We still know only bits and pieces of what the film will be about but the trademark Shane Black quips and smartass attitude shows up much more clearly with this last trailer.

I actually enjoyed the last Predator film and I hope this one continues the trend and just entertains it’s audience.
