Ann Cantor owned Ann Cantor Art Studios in New York. She was previously employed by J. Walter Thompson Advertising. Ann Cantor Studios did a number of paperback covers for Avon Books in the late ’40s / early 50s. Her studio got the copyright credit but she was not the artist. Many of her studio’s cover art actually have the initials of the artists, but their identity remains unknown.
