Oh My God! Here’s The Totally Frightening Super Bowl Commercial For A Quiet Place!

Seriously, this one freaked me out!

(There was some speculation that A Quiet Place may be part of the Cloverfield franchise but, judging from this commercial, I don’t think so.  It looks really good, though.)

Here’s The Red Sparrow Super Bowl Spot!

It’s Super Bowl Sunday and you know what that means!  Commercials, commercials, and more commercials.

(And, apparently, some football game.)

As I did last year, I’m going to do my best to post every movie teaser that airs during the Super Bowl.  Things started off tonight with this intriguing teaser for Red Sparrow!  Jennifer Lawrence plays a Russian agent in this movie, which has been rated R for torture, violence, sex, language, drugs, and everything else that can win a film an R-rating.

Poster

Reine Swart as Chloe van Heerdon

Brandon Aruret as Dr. Timothy Reed

Chloe is overwhelmed by the birth of her first child. The incessant crying of her baby, the growing sense of guilt and paranoia sends her into depression. With a heightened urge to protect her son, Chloe sees danger in every situation. She starts to hear voices, the humming of a childhood lullaby and sees flashes of a strange entity around her child. Convinced that the entity is real, Chloe will do everything in her power to protect her son. Is she haunted by evil or is it just the baby blues?

Review:

index Oh, Child, we got so much to talk about! Your Mama is not crazy, you are! Or are you? Or was you just twisting my mind?

Here’s the Second Trailer for Pacific Rim Uprising!

So far, this trailer has been getting mixed reaction on twitter.  I can kind of see why.  It doesn’t quite have the same amount of oompf as the trailers for the first movie.  I guess the real question is whether or not a Pacific Rim film is really a Pacific Rim film if Guillermo Del Toro isn’t directing.

We’ll find out in March!

Here’s The 2nd Trailer For Eli Roth’s Death Wish!

Judging from the majority of the comments on YouTube, a lot of people do not seem to understand that Eli Roth’s upcoming Death Wish is a remake of an earlier film.  And the few who do realize it seem to be under the impression that it’s either a remake of one of the Punisher films or a rip-off of The Foreigner.

I mean, seriously, that’s kinda pathetic.  There’s no excuse not to know your film history.

Anyway, here’s the 2nd trailer for Death Wish!  It doesn’t really look that good but hopefully, it’ll still be better than The Brave One!

I Dare You To Watch The Trailer For Truth or Dare

AGCK!  Those smiles are creepy!

Otherwise, Truth or Dare basically looks like a remake of It Follows with a little bit of The Ring tossed in.  I have a bad feeling that this is going to be one of those movies where the entire plot is dependent on everyone being beyond dumb but as long as it’s scary, who cares?

Things Get Creepy With The Slender Man Trailer!

You know, I think we all know that the Slender Man movie is not going to be that good but the trailer, which dropped earlier today, certainly is creepy!

Here’s the trailer:

(Myself, I’m hoping the 2019 will see the release of a related film called Fat Man, to be followed in 2020 by Slender Man vs. Fat Man.)

Here’s The Final Trailer for Liam Neeson In The Commuter!

I have a theory that the Taken films, Non-Stop, and the upcoming The Commuter are really just documentaries about the every day life of Liam Neeson.  I think Neeson retired from acting in 2009 and since that time, he’s been just been traveling around the world and beating people up.

That’s my theory anyway.

The Commuter is the latest film in the Neeson documentary series.  In this one, he gets involved in intrigue on a train.  This movie is scheduled to come out in a few weeks and, since it’s a January release, we will probably have forgotten about it by March.
