Jungle Comics ran from 1940 t0 1954 and was full of stories of jungle adventure. Many of them featured Kaanga, the jungle lord, who spent all of his time rescuing people from being sacrificed and eaten by wild animals. Today, Jungle Comics is remembered for its exciting covers. Are you scared of tentacles?

Whether they’re reaching down from the sky or coming out of the water, the idea of being grabbed and, even worse, squeezed by several slimy tentacles is a scary one!
