Artwork of the Day: Lord Vanity (by Mitchell Hooks)
Lord Vanity? I wonder how he got that name! This cover was done by Mitchell Hooks.
Artwork of the Day: Sword Woman (by Ken Kelly)
The Sword Woman on this cover, with the red hair and the general fashion sense, reminds me of someone and that’s all I’ll say about that.
The Sword Woman is Dark Agnes de Chastillon, who lived in 16th century France. The author Robert E. Howard, who also created Conan, wrote three stories featuring Agnes but he never attempted to publish them. It wasn’t until several years after his death that the stories were discovered. In 1977, they were published as Sword Woman. The cover above is from a 1979 edition and was done by Ken Kelly.
Artwork of the Day: Sugar Doll (by Harry Schaare)
This novel was originally published in 1951 but I’m pretty sure this cover is from a later edition. The artwork was done by Harry Schaare.
Artwork of the Day: The Strange Brigade (by Rudy Nappi)

This is from 1952. They really don’t look that strange to me but who knows what might happen in the book. The cover was done by the great Rudy Nappi.
Artwork of the Day: Untitled (by Jon Paul)
I like this image. It’s mysterious but it still captures the way that I often feel. This image was done by Jon Paul. I assume it was done as the cover for a book but I haven’t been able to find the title.
Artwork of the Day: The Crime Clinic (by Norman Saunders)
Artwork of the Day: The Technocrats’ Magazine (by Norman Saunders)
Artwork of the Day: A Time For Murder (by Walter Popp)
Artwork of the Day: A Sin In Time (by Harry Barton)
This is from 1961. She may not have any clothes but that is a pretty bracelet. This cover was done by Harry Barton.
