Though the artist Jim Steranko might be best known for the work he did for Marvel Comics, he was also a prolific and highly regarded paperback cover artist.  In the 1970s, when Pyramid Books reprinted several of the pulpy adventures of the Shadow, Jim Steranko was the artist that they selected to bring the Shadow back to life.  Below are a few of the Shadow covers of Jim Steranko:
