Live Tweet Alert: Join #FridayNightFlix for Source Code!

As some of our regular readers undoubtedly know, I am involved in a few weekly live tweets on twitter.  I host #FridayNightFlix every Friday, I co-host #ScarySocial on Saturday, and I am one of the five hosts of #MondayActionMovie!  Every week, we get together.  We watch a movie.  We tweet our way through it.

Tonight, at 10 pm et, I will be hosting #FridayNightFlix!  The movie?  2011’s Source Code! 

Can Jake Gyllenhaal prevent a bombing on a train?  That sound like a simple premise but, in Source Code, things get much more complicated.  This twisty sci-fi thriller from Duncan Jones was one of my favorite films of 2011 and I look forward to watching it with the Friday Night Flix crew!

Monday Live Tweet Alert: Join Us For Martial Outlaw and The Other Guys!

As some of our regular readers undoubtedly know, I am involved in hosting a few weekly live tweets on twitter.  I host #FridayNightFlix every Friday, I co-host #ScarySocial on Saturday, and I am one of the five hosts of #MondayActionMovie!  Every week, we get together.  We watch a movie.  We tweet our way through it.

 

Tonight, for #MondayActionMovie, the film will be 1993’s Martial Outlaw!  Selected and hosted by RevMagdalen, this movie stars Jeff Wincott as a martial outlaw, whatever that is.  Judging from the poster, he does not wear a shirt.  The movie starts at 8 pm et and can be found on YouTube!

Following #MondayActionMovie, Brad and Sierra will be hosting the #MondayMuggers live tweet.  We will be watching 2010’s The Other Guys!  This hilarious comedy can be found on Netflix!

Tonight, for #ScarySocial, I will be hosting 1977’s SNOWBEAST!

In SNOWBEAST, Bo Svenson and Clint Walker team up to try to stop a monster that is threatening to disrupt the winter carnival!  It’s a surprisingly bloody made-for-TV movie.  You will be Team Snowbeast all the way!

When Mark Harmon is taken hostage, the U.S. Government proves that it was just as worthless in 1986 as it is in 2022!  Fortunately, Harmon’s friends are going to let him be forgotten.  Enter Robert Duvall as a soldier of fortune!  This film also features Glenn Frey, Rick Rossovich, Thomas F. Wilson, Gary Busey, and David Hess!  Director Stuart Rosenberg requested to be credited as Alan Smithee.  That’s always a good sign, right?

Monday Live Tweet Alert: Join Us For Black Eagle and The Shootist!

As some of our regular readers undoubtedly know, I am involved in hosting a few weekly live tweets on twitter.  I host #FridayNightFlix every Friday, I co-host #ScarySocial on Saturday, and I am one of the five hosts of #MondayActionMovie!  Every week, we get together.  We watch a movie.  We tweet our way through it.

Tonight, for #MondayActionMovie, the film will be 1988’s Black Eagle!  Selected and hosted by SweetEmmyCat, this movie stars Sho Kosugi, his sons, and Jean-Claude Van Damme!  It’s also set in Malta, which I visited after graduating high school.  The movie starts at 8 pm et and can be found on YouTube!

Following #MondayActionMovie, Brad and Sierra will be hosting the #MondayMuggers live tweet.  We will be watching 1976’s The Shootist, the classic western that featured both John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart giving it their all.  The Shootist is on Prime.

The forest near a small town serve as the home of a fearsome creature.  Can Kevin Durand and Lukas Haas save their town from supernatural destruction!?  I don’t know.  I’ll find out tonight when I watch Dark Was The Night with #ScarySocial!

Gene Hackman, Patrick Swayze, Robert Stack, Tim Thomerson, Reb Brown, Randall “Tex” Cobb, and Fred Ward return to Vietnam to save the POWs who were left behind by the American government.  This action film features a once-in-a-lifetime cast and it even features a bit of dancing from both Tim Thomerson and Tex Cobb!

Monday Live Tweet Alert: Join Us For Exterminators of the Year 3000 and Police Academy!

Tonight, for #MondayActionMovie, the film will be 1983’s Exterminators of the Year 3000!  Selected and hosted by me, this Italian film is one of the many rip-offs of Mad Max to come out in the 80s.  It’s non-stop action, with a futuristic motorcycle gang trying to control a world where rain is unknown!  The movie starts at 8 pm et!  Here’s the playlist!

Following #MondayActionMovie, Brad and Sierra will be hosting the #MondayMuggers live tweet.  We will be watching 1984’s Police Academy, the classic comedy that inspired a franchise!  The film is available on Netflix!
