The Aliens Are Here!


The Aliens are here!  They were spotted flying over California earlier tonight night and lighting up the sky.  The official story is that everyone was just seeing Trident missiles.  Watch the video below and judge for yourself.

I don’t know about you but it sure looks like aliens to me!  What might our new alien overlords be like?  Here’s how some others imagined this moment.

Strange Stories was a pulp magazine that, from 1939 to 1941, specialized in publishing horror and occult fiction.  While the magazine ceased publication after only 13 issues, it remains popular among collectors.  Featuring work from illustrators like Earle Bergey and Rudolph Belarski, the Strange Stories covers are perfect for October.

Artist Profile: Earle Bergey (1901 — 1952)

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and educated at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Earle Bergey is considered to have been one of the most prolific and influential pulp fiction artists of the 20th Century.  His most famous cover was the one he painted for Gentleman Prefer Blondes in 1948.
