6 Shots From 6 Films: Jess Franco Edition

4 Shots From 4 Films is just what it says it is, 4 shots from 4 of our favorite films. As opposed to the reviews and recaps that we usually post, 4 Shots From 4 Films lets the visuals do the talking!  (And yes, sometimes we do more than just 4 shots!)

Today, we honor the one and only Jesus “Jess” Franco!

  1. As my wonderful AI Assistant notes: Franco was a Spanish director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and actor who worked in a variety of genres, including exploitation and erotic horror. He was known for his prolific output, averaging nine films per year during his peak. His total directorial output? They count 195 films, the most of any Director in the history of cinema. I own about 25 of them, mostly the newly remastered blu-rays with all the extra bonus material. Unique in style, tone and quality to be sure!
