Video games have scenes to love, too! And I’ll be your guide through some of the finest in this space.
If you have never played BioShock, stop right now, go buy the game, and play it. Wait, it came out six years ago and you can’t be bothered? Oh well. If you’re even considering playing Bioshock, you may not want to spoil this clip for yourself. On the other hand, it might inspire you to actually play the game – something I readily encourage. In either case, would you kindly join me in enjoying what earnestly could be the greatest scene in any video game ever made?
Would you kindly. A powerful phrase.
I had to play through tis game again just to get to this scene the past couple weeks. I know I could’ve just clicked on the video above, but I still think this scene has a much stronger emotional impact on people when they go through the first half of Bioshock hearing Andrew Ryan’s voice ranting and raving about his Objectivism ideology.
Still one of the best moments in video gaming history.

Objectivism ideology?
You mean they make video games based upon the beliefs of Ayn Rand?
If you take the name Andrew Ryan and switch around some letters, you get “Ayn Rand”…erm…with an ‘e’, ‘r’ and ‘w’ left over.
