Today is the day that we celebrate love!
Love isn’t always easy! As we all know, Valentine’s Day can be difficult when you’re single. Everyone around you is bragging about how in love they are and you just want them to shut up and leave you alone. If you are among those who are single today, do not worry and do not despair. You’re not the first person to find yourself in this situation and you won’t be the last. Though you may feel like you, you are not alone. The path to true love is never an easy one to travel but the destination makes the trip worth it. Even in the 1950s and the 1960s and the 1970s, Valentine’s Day wasn’t for everyone.
As difficult as it can be to find true love, it’s always worth the search!
So. if you’re alone or if you’re a part of a couple, if you’re single or married, in love or simply enjoying life, happy February 14th! May it be a good day, no matter what it means to you.

I’ve written a lot of version of this post since I joined TSL. This year, the Flame-haired One just wanted to post a picture of Godzilla and King Kong shaking hands but I looked at it and I said, “meh.” There are some things that only a cat can do.
Today is not going to be an easy Valentine’s Day for some. For some humans, Valentine’s Day is never easy. If you will allow a cat to be serious for a minute, many humans have lost loved ones over the past two years, due to the pandemic and everything that goes along with it. Celebrate love and celebrate happiness but take a minute to remember those who might be hurting or who might be missing their loved ones for the first time. It’s up to you, the humans, to do this because we cats probably won’t.
Valentine’s Day isn’t just about what you do or where you go. It’s about loving what you love. Some humans love other humans. Me, I love Temptations snacks, playing with my toys, and sleeping 10 hours a day. That’s what Valentine’s Day is all about to me.
Whatever Valentine’s Day is about to you, we all hope that you are having a good and a safe one! Happy Valentine’s Day to all! Be kind to those you love and never, ever forget the cats and the humans in your life!
