Brad’s Song of the Day – “Hello and Goodbye” – sung by Jill Ireland!

Back in 1976, Charles Bronson and Jill Ireland did a movie together called FROM NOON TIL THREE. The western set, romantic comedy featured Jill singing the song “Hello and Goodbye.” The music was written by Elmer Bernstein, with lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman. It would go on to be nominated for a Golden Globe award in 1977 for “Best Original Song.” In honor of her birthday, I’m sharing it with you today!

Always be prepared.  You never know who might land outside of your house.  Anyway, this is a fun video.  Remember that real Space Invaders can be destroyed just be coughing on them and giving them some of those Earth germs for which they have yet been able to build up an immunity.

Brad’s Theme Song of the day – “Ko Chun’s Theme” from the GOD OF GAMBLERS!

In my review of GOD OF GAMBLERS, I mention Ko Chun (Chow Yun-Fat) strolling into the casino to the rousing theme music of the film. I later saw someone comment on a YouTube video that they would like a “sensor at my door that plays this song every time I walk through it.” I couldn’t agree more! It’s an excellent song for slow motion coolness and it’s used to nice effect multiple times throughout the film. Enjoy my friends!

Today, we wish a happy birthday to Eric Roberts!

In our music video of the day, Roberts nearly marries Mariah Carey, just for her to leave him for Wentworth Miller.  This video is a sequel to the video for It’s Like That and Mariah wears the same wedding dress when she married music exec Tommy Mottola.  (Make of that, what you will.)  Personally, I think Eric dodged a bullet here because everyone knows that he and Eliza were meant to be.
