  1. When “Avatar” was released, I ran programming at a cable network called G4…we were all about tech, pop culture, video games, we aired the Japanese Ninja Warrior shows in the original language with subtitles, and Cameron was of course a God to our viewers…he loved us so much he brought his new camera down to our studio to show off some of the technology being used in the film for the first time – stopping by on the way to the film’s premiere….before he went live, I sat with him in the green room while he chewed out a Publicist on the phone, then after his 15 minute live conversation on our show, he wrapped it up by hitting one of our set mannequins with a folding chair! Oh, and he took the chair with him! I’ve done some fun stuff in my career and that’s one you can’t plan for!
