This October, I am going to be using our 4 Shots From 4 Films feature to pay tribute to some of my favorite horror directors, in alphabetical order! That’s right, we’re going from Argento to Zombie in one month!

There are many who find these films incredibly offensive…well, it was exactly what he was going for! Cheaply made with some of the worst acting possible, it doesn’t change the fact that his films helped break the “Hayes Code” – which led to more adult and graphic material finally being seen onscreen – once the mainstream studios saw the money being made in grind houses and drive-in theaters, they broke the remaining barriers and we were off to the “anything goes” races! Great collection of stills!
