Well, you’ll definitely recognize him in this scene that I love from the original Friday the 13th!
That’s right! Many actors have played Jason Voorhees but Ari Lehman was the first!
And today is his birthday.

Brave of you to watch those horror movies. Ever since Pet Cemetery and Nightmare on Elm Street I have yet to watch a horror film without getting nightmares.

I met Ari Lehman at a horror convention years ago. He was super friendly and had a ton of energy.

I haven’t met him but I’ve talked to several horror fans who have run into him over the years and all of them have pretty much agreed with you. It sounds like Ari’s a supernice guy and is totally at peace with his claim to fame. 🙂 I understand that he even has a band called The First Jason, that writes horror-themed songs.

Yeah, he talked about that. I think he even sings a bit on one of the F13 documentaries. He definitely looks the part of the musician.
He’s a great convention guest as he’s so laid back. I like being around people that are having fun there.
