  1. Hell, yeah!

    I like how the voiceover describes The Doll Squad as “total entertainment for all ages” right after a bazooka blast annihilation that caps off at least twenty-five other killings, including at least two head shots.

    I just watched the Pam Grier documentary that is offered after the Coffy trailer ends. (The video was titled “Pam Grier 1999 Interview” by the YouTube poster.) It’s about an hour long. Well worth watching. Ms. Grier is a very cool, articulate, and impressive woman. Narrated by Richard Roundtree !), this bio-doc provides interesting background and insight about the exploitation genre from people who know about it, and reveals that Pam had a lot more creative control and influence over her early films than one might have thought.
