Happy Halloween!
In honor of the holiday, here’s a Halloween-themed clip from one of the greatest films ever made — Ms. 45, the movie that proved that the Grindhouse is often more sincerely pro-woman than the mainstream.
(Big spoiler warning: This scene is actually the end of the film so if you’re the type of little toadsucker that’s always crying “You should have warned me boo hoo,” consider yourself warned.)

As a sidenote, it’s interesting to note how much the cowboy who gets shot looks like Jake Gyllenhaal.

I was wondering when you’ll put up a clip from this flick. Especially since you chose it as your sample to explain grindhouse is much better than mainstream several months back. 🙂

I had been looking for an excuse for a while. I didn’t want to call this a “Scene I Love” because of all the (debatably) innocent people dying on screen. lol. Luckily, Halloween came along. 🙂
BTW, by my count, this is post #99 so my next post will have to be something other than the disco theme from Caligula…
