Yes!  It may have taken extra innings!  They may have spent the entire game behind or tied until the 11th inning!  The important thing is that the Dodgers have won the World Series!  Our crops have been saved!  Congratulations to the Dodgers and thank you for defeating the Blue Jays.  That was one of the most exciting World Series that I have ever seen and, in the end, the right team won.

Now, when does Spring Training start?  I’m already looking forward to a new season of cheers, tears, and baseball!

The Blue Jays have won Game 4.  The series is tied at 2-2.

I will be watching baseball on Halloween night.

Last night’s game lasted for 18 innings!  You know that I was cheering for the Dodgers but, after the 17th inning, I really just wanted someone to get a run so I could get some sleep!  It finally happened during the 18th inning, with the most beautiful homerun of the entire season.

The Dodgers are now leading the series 2-1!  Keep going, Dodgers!  Game 4 is tonight!

I missed the game tonight because I was supporting my sister and #ScarySocial but I did check the score when I got a chance and needless to say, I was very happy. After getting crushed last night, the Dodgers came back and won Game Two by a score of 5-1! The series is now tied at 1-1. That means that we will at least get a Game Five.

Congrats, Dodgers! Now, keep it up and win that championship!

I’m just going to say it.  Nothing makes you feel more like a jinx than for the team your cheering for to get crushed 11-4 in the Game One of the World Series.  It makes me glad that I switched over to Tremors when the game was still tied because I don’t think I could have handled watching every minute of that defeat.

The good thing is, though, there are still a lot more games to go and the Dodgers are only down by one game.  They can still turn this around and they’ve shown that they have the talent to do so.  And if I have to start cheering for the Blue Jays to transfer that jinx over to them, I’ll do it!

The World Series starts tonight and I can’t think of anything scarier than the Blue Jays winning the World Series. Not until a priest is called in to exorcise the spirit of Jose Bautista from the Blue Jays dugout will I be willing to cheer for Toronto.

So, I’m sending up all of my Halloween prayers to the Los Angeles Dodgers! You’re our only hope, Dodgers! I certainly never though I’d be cheering for you but this October, you’re my team! Get out there and play to win. I want to see home runs, stolen bases, and plenty of leaning into the pitch. Do what you have to do. Show the Mariners how it’s done.

The World Series starts tonight. The earliest it could end would be with Game 4 on October 28th. I wouldn’t mind if the Blue Jays won a few games to extend the World Series to Game 6. The Dodgers winning the World Series on October 31st? That would be a Halloween miracle!

Last night was terrifying!  I was watching the Mariner/Blue Jays game and the Mariners were ahead.  They seemed like the had the game wrapped up.  I was so confident that the Mariners would be winning the ALCS and keeping Toronto out of the World Series that I stopped watching the game and instead, I joined Lisa, Jeff, Brad, and the rest of the Monday Mania crew in watching The Wrong Boy Next Door.

About 45 minutes into the movie, I glanced at my phone to check on the game.

The Blue Jays were ahead.

No, I wanted to shout, what are you doing, Seattle!?

The Blue Jays went on to win the ALCS and now, they’ll be facing the Dodgers in the World Series.  And while I may not like the Blue Jays, I have to congratulate them.  They came from behind in both the game and the series and they won.  That’s what a good baseball team does.

So. congratulations, Blue Jays.  And, when the series begins on the 24th, let’s go Dodgers!

Seattle, I’m never going to depend on you for anything ever again.

Also, if you guys could wrap up the World Series before Halloween rolls around, I’d appreciate it.  Thanks!
