My BFF Evelyn and I absolutely love the music of Adi Ulmansky.  Today’s music video of the day is the video for One Octave Up, off of her debut solo mixtape, Shit Got Real. The video finds Adi driving, getting a gun pulled on her, and eventually ending up in some sort of prison.  I’m assuming that Adi is some sort of secret agent or something like that.  She’s definitely a better driver than I am.  Me, I can’t drive and take a call at the same time.  And that’s not actually a bad thing.  Talking while driving is something that’s best avoided unless, of course, you’re Adi Ulmansky.  There’s nothing Adi can’t do.

To be honest, I’m really not sure what’s going on in this video but it doesn’t matter.  I like the look of the video.  I like the song.  Sometimes, it’s not necessary to really understand what you’re watching.  Sometimes, you just have to watch.  You just have to exist.  You just have to take it all in without asking too many questions.
