Here’s The Trailer For The Exorcists!

David Gordon Green is not the only filmmaker with an Exorcist film coming out.

The Asylum also has an Exorcist film coming up and if I have to choose between the two, you know that I’m going to go with The Asylum every time!

Here’s the the trailer for The Exorcists, from the Asylum:

Here’s The Trailer For Woman In the Maze

“Welcome to Jerome!”

Woman In The Maze is an upcoming horror film about a woman who visits America’s biggest ghost town and ends up staying in a house that apparently does not want her to leave.  The house is so intent on keeping her there that it turns into a maze.

The same thing seems to happen to me whenever I stay at a hotel.  You don’t know want to know how many times I’ve gotten off on the wrong floor and tried to enter the wrong room!

Here’s the trailer for this film, which is due to be released on October 6th!

Here’s The Trailer For John Carpenter’s Suburban Screams!

John Carpenter’s Suburban Screams is an upcoming horror anthology, in which “true” tales of horror are dramatized.  I’m not really sure how involved John Carpenter really is with the production but his name in the title is enough to ensure that I’ll be watching the premiere on October 13th.

Here’s the trailer!

Music Video of the Day: Ghost Town by The Specials (1981, directed by Barney Bubbles)

Filmed at a time when there was widespread rioting happening in not just London but all across Europe, the video for Ghost Town features the Specials driving around London and looking at a once bustling city that appears to now be a deserted ghost town.  Much as with The Clash’s London Calling, the overall theme here seems to be that London is drowning and everyone lives by the river.  According the band’s bassist, the car was borrowed and the original owner was not happy when he discovered that the camera used to shoot the scenes of London had also scratched up the side of the car.

Barney Bubbles was a graphic artist who also branched out into shooting music videos.  Before his tragically early death at the age of 41 in 1983, Bubbles did videos for not only The Specials but also for Elvis Costello and Fun Boy Three.

Enjoy!

Here’s The Trailer for Dark Harvest!

October approaches and, with it, a whole bunch of new horror films that are undoubtedly hoping to launch a franchise.  The trailer for Dark Harvest features a killer known as Sawtooth Jack.  Judging from this trailer, Sawtooth Jack has little in common with Great Pumpkin.

Dark Harvest will be digitally available on October 13th!

Here’s The Trailer For Totally Killer

Here’s the trailer for Totally Killer, the latest Blumhouse horror film to go straight to Prime.  The premise looks intriguing but it’s also true that Blumhouse always seems to send their weakest stuff straight to Prime.

That said, Lochlyn Munro’s in it!

Here’s The Trailer For Mike Flanagan’s The Fall Of The House of Usher

With October approaching, it’s time for yet another Mike Flanagan-directed horror miniseries to premiere on Netflix.  This year, he’s bringing us what appears to be an updated version of The Fall of the House of Usher.  Here’s the trailer.  The series itself is scheduled to be released on October 12th!
