I have seen two dates listed for this cover. One source says that this book came out in 1950. The other says 1954. Either way, this cover was done by Chicago artist Freeman Elliott.

I wonder which one is the good sister.
It doesn’t look that strange.
Beyond the fact that he was born in Chicago and that he was a prominent illustrator and pin-up artist in the 1950s, I have not be able to find much biographical information about Freeman Elliott. This is one of those cases where we will just have to let the work speak for itself.
