I’ve spent enough time on and around horses that this cover makes me a little nervous.  I don’t think he’s holding a tight enough grip on either the reins or the woman.  If that horse gets spooked, everyone’s going to go flying.  That would be the worst Valentine’s Day ever.

More importantly, the author signed their work on this cover but I can’t make out the name.  Can anyone else?  I always want to give credit where credit is due and it’s rare that an artist actually got to sign their work.  The first letter appears to be an L.
