Today, on Sean Connery’s birthday, our song of the day is the theme for one of my favorite Bond films. I know that some people claim that Diamonds are Forever is a lesser Bond film but personally, I think it’s just silly enough to be effective. James Bond and Las Vegas are a match made in heaven.

Through the Shattered Lens 
One of the greatest Bond themes of all time! She was also the only Artist to ever do more than one theme song, and her “Goldfinger” is dynamite as well! Cheers to Connery – he was a man “of his time” but he also left us with so many great memories, from the Bond films to “The Name Of The Rose”, The Man Who Would Be King”, The Untouchables” and gritty gems like “The Offense” and of course “Zardoz!”
