4 Shots From 4 Films: Special Quentin Tarantino Edition

4 Or More Shots From 4 Or More Films is just what it says it is, 4 shots from 4 of our favorite films. As opposed to the reviews and recaps that we usually post, 4 Shots From 4 Films lets the visuals do the talking!

Today, the Shattered Lens wishes a happy 61st birthday to director/screenwriter/cultural institution, Quentin Tarantino!

Here are….

  1. I did the first ever US TV interview with a very young QT at the 1992 Cannes film festival for “Reservoir Dogs” and he told me his goal was for the audience NOT to know which characters would die. He said it was like watching Star Trek when they’d go to a dangerous planet with Kirk, Spock and Sgt. Lebowitz, you knew who wasn’t coming back! Oh, and my wife and I saw “Pulp” at Cannes two years later and interviewed the entire cast! Willis, QT, Travolta, Thurman and Jackson!
