  1. “The Company of Wolves” is one of my favorite “werewolf” movies. I wrote a Beefcake post years back on Micha Bergese, who played the Huntsman. Gorgeous man.

As far as “Interview with a Vampire” goes, I really took exception to Cruise being cast as Lestat – and still do. While reading the first two books I envisioned Sting, or Julian Sands (who Rice wanted initially), or even David Lee Roth. Having said that, Brad Pitt and Antonio Banderas were excellently cast – with the young Kirsten Dunst outperforming every single one of her co-stars. Oh, and having Stephen Rhea and Bergese in the mix as Paris vampires brought the film up a notch.
