Eh. I don’t even want to talk about this week. Maybe I’ll be in the mood to talk about this week next week but hopefully, when next week comes around, I will have moved onto other things. It’s nothing to be too concerned about. It’s just that some weeks are crappy and, as a result, you don’t want to talk about them when they end. You just want to move on!
I will say this. If you’re a billionaire who wants to run a social network, build it up from scratch. Be there from the start and be clear about what you’re planning. Don’t buy another popular site and then ruin it just so you can then force everyone onto your site. I mean, really, I’m not difficult to please. All I ask is that people be polite and give fair warning before changing everything.
*SIGH*
Anyway, here’s what I watched and listened to this week. Yes, I decided to avoid the crowds as far as Barbie and Oppenheimer are concerned. I’ll see them this upcoming week, after I get my car inspected.

First, thank you for including the link to my story about Mickey Rooney…now, here’s hoping you have a much better week ahead – lastly, I own “Convoy” as I am a fan of all things Peckinpah…surprisingly dark for what it could have been – and the DVD included a short documentary about the film with new-ish interviews with Kristofferson and Ali McGraw…fascinating stuff to be sure! Also, any film with Ernest Borgnine is a watch for me – his memoir is terrific – what a funny character he was – he was offer a % of “Willard” in lieu of his normal salary but turned it down – admitted it cost him more than a million dollars!

The “people at the top of the food chain” (meh) don’t give a shite about us peons. Period. They are greedy, narcissistic sociopaths. Some may also be psychopaths. Money and power is what they eat for breakfast, lumch, and dinner. They are not in it to please us nor are they in it to give us anything that does not serve their interests.
Billionaires, politicians, companies, organized religion, heads of state. governments, NGOs, ad nauseam. All cut from the same putrid piece of cloth.
The good news is that they represent only 1% of humanity (although I wouldn’t call them human). The bad news is that we – the 99% – are allowing them to control and manipulate us at every turn.
