Today is the birthday of the one and only Paul Schrader!  It’s time for….

  1. American Gigolo, one of my favorite movies. Richard Gere fan. The movie evokes the 80s and the Southern California lifestyle – both of which I love.

The opening scene of Gere driving that convertible sportscar plays again in my mind every time I hear “Call Me”.

I may have to dig out my DVD copy and watch it again.
