In this episode of The Twilight Zone, Marsha White (played by Anne Francis) discovers some strange things happening in a department store. If you’re like me and you find mannequins to be super creepy, this episode is for you!
This episode originally aired on June 10th, 1960.

This was a very good episode. A woman, Anne Francis, who’s also quite pretty, finds herself in an elevator in a department store being taken to the ninth floor. Up there, she encounters some amusing, intriguing things: the whole floor looks like it’s been renovated. There’s no merchandise anywhere. There’s an empty glass customer display case with seemingly nothing in it either. Then a strange woman shows up to help her. Francis tells the woman what she wants and she then shows her the one solitary piece of merchandise on that entire floor, exactly what she was looking for! Francis becomes very bewildered and then goes downstairs to talk to the manager. While talking to him, Francis sees the woman again, and is utterly shocked to then see this woman in mannequin form. The rest of the episode turns into a bizarre story of manniquins coming to life, revelations on who are the manniquins and who aren’t, and other thrills. The ending has a very astounding twist. Very intriguing, exciting episode.
