This is from 1952. This cover was done by one of my favorite pulp artists, AlexSchomburg.

This is from 1949. I guess back then people thought that future would involve putting women in bubbles and then shooting them out of cannons. I’m not sure. I’m glad that future didn’t come to pass, though. This cover was done by Lawrence Sterne Stevens.
