A fine example of pulp cover artwork though a damsel in distress or a femme fatale wouldn’t have hurt. Made me wonder who Morton and McGarvey were as I’ve never heard of them and I have most of Otto Penzler’s pulp anthologies and, finally, were they all that lovable – not a word I would use in a novel highlighted by a tommy gun.
