  1. A beautiful post. D-Day was definitely a disastrous war that had a drastic impact on the world. It was one of the most devastating battles of WWII that led towards the loss of several innocent lives. One way to pay the tribute to D-Day is through artwork which your post definitely succeeds in doing. Another way to honor the war is through watching movies. There have been several great movies made about the battle in Normandy. For instance, Steven Spielberg’s Oscar-winning “Saving Private Ryan” did an extraordinary job of recreating a grim war that led to the tragic losses of lives. One of the greatest war movies ever made. It does a superb job of educating viewers about the Battle of Normandy.

    Here’s why it’s well worth a watch:

        1. Why? Never address pro or con statements on Spielberg. He’s Jewish! Not into blood libels like the French reputation.
