I hesitate to add this to the doc’s attempt at consolation, but a quick search did return another “Erin”-themed film. Like Brockovich, the title (I decided not to go with “titular”, in this case, for reasons that will become evident) character seems to be a helpful person, based upon the brief synopsis provided. (The other) Ms. Bowman can decide whether or not to confirm or deny any biographical connection to the film. (In the event there is such a connection, while your faithful readrer’s enjoy your artist-oriented posts, I think they would also like to read about your other interests. Of course, I can only speak for myself.

Well, don’t tak e that personally.
I read the bio of the actress portaying your namesake. According to that, in addition to being gorgeous, she “…briefly worked at a local Hooters restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida, but eventually quit because she found the work environment degrading.” But this was “…prior to pursuing a career in the adult entertainment industry.”, in which all that objectification and leering would be far less likely to occur.
She did apparently make a better living therein for awhile. But, alas, she, found religion, and quit the business. (Thanks alot, God.) She now works for a couple of “outreach and supportgro ups”, whatever that means. Sigh…What a waste…
